Great comment from one of the teachers "...thanks for all your time this term the pupils have really benefited and I feel that Bengie is really starting to feel like part of our school." BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Hexham - Northumberland - Loads of spectacular walks - all I need now are the joints to go with them! :)

He'll be learning to read soon!
My old dog Frankie had a bad night last night, panting and chewing his paw, unable to sleep. In the end I gave him double his prescribed dose of Tramadol, and he got off to sleep. But I think this weekend I may have to let him go. Vet did an ultrasound last week and he has a hugely enlarged spleen, and his kidneys look roughened. Such a dear, loving old dog. He even kissed the vet. I read something on the web that said "better a week too early than a minute too late," so I'll bear that in mind.

That is the most apt and strong thing to do. My dog, Clay, had problems from birth. We had him till he was just 5. One day, he just sat down on his walk and looked at me, he was in too much pain. I knew that was the time and although it is dreadful, you just know when it's right. We can keep the lovely memories though.
